Feature request: Set default layout type when joining a room

Hi all,

I'm currently testing the v2.4-beta2 and was wondering if there's a way to set the default layout via the API, preferably on the join request.

That would be really useful to control the appearance for a joining user based on the type of presentation or meeting that's currently in progress.

Is that currently implemented or planned for the v.2.4 release?
