How can we add support for a new RTMP service to Share an external video?

Hi Bijan,

Can you tell us more about your use case?

The Share external video is in the HTML5 client, but the HTML5 client does not have an RTMP player.  Also, Flash is being removed from Chrome and other browser by 2020, see

I'm sorry I think I explained it badly

We want to stream the bigbluebutton page live on YouTube.
How can we do this?

You don't need to strem it over RTMP. Or at least you don't need to do
it form the browser. You can setup your stram with OBS and stream that
to youtube or any other streaming service.

I don't know any way of doing that. Maybe there is a way to stram the browser tab over RTMP. Look for an extension for Friefox or Chrome.

If you find one please share it. I'm also interested in a simpler way tyo stream to youtube.

One way would be an application on the server that joins a headless client to the required meeting and captures and streams it.
