Hi,

I am using bbb-0.71a. I have upgraded Flex3 to Flex4.5 and merged
bigbluebutton-client code with git master branch.
I built client successfull. However, when I join a meeting there is
nothing except Help/Logout button on the toolbar. LogWindow is small,
blank and unable to resize or move.

I often encounter this notification when built client with ant:
[mxmlc] Required RSLs:
[mxmlc] http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/swz/flex/4.5.1.21328/framework_4.5.1.21489.swz
with 1 failover.
[mxmlc] http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/swz/tlf/2.0.0.232/textLayout_2.0.0.232.swz
with 1 failover.
[mxmlc] http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/swz/flex/4.5.1.21328/rpc_4.5.1.21328.swz
with 1 failover.
[mxmlc] http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/swz/flex/4.5.1.21328/mx_4.5.1.21489.swz
with 1 failover.

Did I do something wrong? How can I fix it?

Thanks
An Tran

Which flex sdk are you using? Have you enabled flex 3 compatibility?

Hi Stephane,

I am using Flex SDK 4.5.
Here is my flex sdk information:
<flex-sdk-description>
<name>Flex 4.5.1A</name>
<version>4.5.1</version>
<build>21328</build>
</flex-sdk-description>

Sorry, I don't know about Flex 3 compatibility mode. My original Flex
SDK version is 3 and it work really well.
When I turned to use Flex 4.5, I encountered problem that I described.
Does use compatibility mode help me to solve this problems?
My goal is using Flex 4.5 because BBB 0.8 have been switched to it.

Regards,
An Tran

Hi,

check if you have activated the option "User Flex 3 compatibility
mode" at the flex compiler settings of your project in FlashBuilder.

Stéphane

Check the wiki for setting up dev env. We are using a version older
than what you have.

To build, under bigbluebutton-client, just run "ant" then "ant locales".

The problem of not able to download the RSL has been mentioned in the
mailing list a few times.
Just search for it for some suggestions on what you can do to resolve it.
