Hello folks  Big Blue Button looks terrific.  It sounds like a lot of work to run it though in addition to needing a virtual server or dedicated flash media server.  Is anyone offering hosted versions?

Thanks

Renee

Yes, there are a couple of hosted solutions.  For instance, my company offers a complete audio and web conferencing solution that can provide you with flat monthly rates for as many telephone numbers as you need.  This means you can have local numbers for all of your locations (domestic or international).  We have the whole supporting app built around BBB - meeting scheduling, email invitations, Outlook integration, etc.

Other companies provide just raw BigBlueButton VM hosting that simply gives you root access to a virtual machine running BBB.  So, it just depends on what you want / need.

I would like to add that as Jeremy has been a big contributor to the
BigBlueButton project (a quick search of the mailing list archives
will show you how much he has contributed). I think everyone would
agree with me when I say that his contributions reflect very
positively on GenericConf.

If you are looking for hosting solutions from a company that really
knows BigBlueButton, then definitely check out GenericConf.

Regards,... Fred
