Webcam BG by API

Hi dear dev gurus,

I wonder why my API injected custom background does not get used and how to debug my setup. I tried to use API join call withwebcamBackgroundURL=https://myurl.jpg but nothing happens. I read https://github.com/bigbluebutton/bigbluebutton/pull/20703 bot no new idea. And I set bbb-web.properties with useDefaultWebcamBackground=true

defaultWebcamBackgroundURL=https://myurl.jpg but no luck.

What am I missing? How can I check?
