Hi folks,

Is there someone who have an overview on scalelite limits ? the number
of servers that can be managed by scalelite-api ?

I'm wondering how many bbb servers we can add on.

We've changed the WEB_CONCURRENCY param accordingly to our server
ressources and that seems to work. We are managing 42 BBB servers on and
that's running well, but I added new servers (7) and we will have to add
new servers in a few, so....

After Only greenlight have some problems at some time (when users comme
back to end of conferences at the same moment), but that's only on a
really short moment, and we can deploy a new server in LB also...

Our infra have 2 scalelite-api in load-balancing (on same redis
cluster), and we're doing LB with a HAproxy (disconnected nginx for this
part) so scalelite is proxied.

Any feedback and tips would be appreciated.

Thanks.

- Julien

I'd suggest splitting big setups in multiple clusters, each of them being dedicated to a region or group of schools/customers and having their own Scalelite and a bunch of smaller Moodle/Greenlight/Frontend-services. Some people also run Scalelite in a high availability setup, which might help with scaling up better.
Scalelite scales vertically quite well, so you can add more CPU cores (or use dedicated hardware with high performance for it).
