Yes, its designed to run concurrent sessions, the number of sessions, participants concurrently is a function of the hardware selected and the actual use case...
Ideally meetings should be no larger than 100 users, and the number of concurrent users across meetings between 200 – 500 depending on server size and amount of video/screenshare needed.
Really need to test your use case to get a good production number.

1 Load balancer, 2 turn servers, 5 bbb servers as a good starting point.
