Just wondering if anyone has tried to incorporate BigBlueButton into Blackboard yet? Seems they both utilize API, so it shouldn't be 'impossible' to build a Blackboard building block? We are currently running Blackboard 8 (to be upgraded to 9 at the end of the year), and this is in our long term plans. Any thoughts / ideas?

Hi Scott,

Last time I checked, to join the BlackBoard developer program costs
$2k/year. As a result, you won't find many open source developers
ready to pay the $2k and volunteer their time to write a building
block.

If you are willing to pay for the development of a building block, try
contacting one of the companies that offer commercial support for
BigBlueButton.
