Over SIP (video+voice) integration

Hello.

Does BBB have any possibility for integration with other MCUs and clients over SIP (video+voice)?

For example, with Tandberg MCUs and terminals, with SIP video-phones (over Asterisk)?

Does BBB has full-functional builtin softphone? I know about red5phone, but it has no dialpad insite BBB even (there is no SIP video too), it should be interesting feature to connect softphone with dialpad from BBB to Asterisk dialplan, so user is able to dial numbers and go over Asterisk to other sites (video+voice) and PSTN (voice only).

BBB uses Red5Phone but we haven't exposed the dialpad in the UI. Since
we only envision it to be used to join the conference.

We don't have a use case yet where a user inside a conference needs to dial out.

As for SIP video, Red5Phone doesn't support it so we don't.

Someone on the mailing list was trying to get it working before but
there's just a lot of changes to support it. Now sure if he was
successful.

I can't answer the question because I don't really know what's
involved. We haven't explored this so my answers will just be guesses.

If you really need it. You can contact Blindside Networks or anybody
else on this list who may be able to help you out as part of customer
driven enhancement.
