Hi,
I am working on BBB 2.0. I have used https://test.bigbluebutton.org to test BBB on Vuzix M300 smart glass (based on Android 6.0.0). When I joined the session, audio is connecting successfully but when I click on share webcam, it am getting "error on sharing webcam".

Regards,
Pankaj

Hey Panjak,

Are you able to see other people's webcams in your smart glass (e.g. shared from a desktop)? Also, are you using chrome or firefox?

s,

Paulo.

Thanks for the follow up. I'm suspecting there's some sort of overconstraining when trying to fetch an appropriate resolution from
your glasses' camera. Are you able to run this test https://webrtchacks.github.io/WebRTC-Camera-Resolution/  (the quick scan one) on it and paste
the results here?

I know the "error on sharing webcam" is a bit generic in your case but there will be improvements on its clarity in the future.

Paulo.

Hey Roger,

A description of the network topology involved in your test will help us pinpoint the cause, mainly
  - Is your mobile on cellular or wifi network?
  - Is your server behind NAT (e.g. an AWS instance)?

Another question: is audio working fine in that same setup?

A quick overview on the error: Error 1107 means that there's a problem establishing a connection between
your device and the media server. That either means that there isn't a STUN server properly
set up either server-side or client-side, or that you need a TURN server configured (that
usually happens when one of the peer involved is behind symmetric NAT).

s,

Paulo.

I tried both WiFi and GSM network, both have the same result. Yes, our server is NAT and voice is fine. I will try to configure and set Turn server.

Thanks,
Roger

Try a STUN first, it'll be easier for you since there's a myriad of them available for free (I recommend Google's one).
Check out http://docs.bigbluebutton.org/html/html5-install.html#2-install-html5-client for info on how to do that.

Another question: did you try it out on your mobile with Chrome?

I'm able to reproduce the problem and opened an issue on that.

Hi Roger,

> I will try to configure and set Turn server.

We've updated our docs for setting up a TURN server,

Try the above and let us know if that gets you going.
