Problem installing recent BBB version, docker problem ERROR: client version 1.25 is too old.?

Hi there,

I run into an error installing BBB

ERROR: client version 1.25 is too old. Minimum supported API version is 1.44, please upgrade your client to a newer version
bbb-install: Waiting for the Postgres DB to start...
ERROR: client version 1.25 is too old. Minimum supported API version is 1.44, please upgrade your client to a newer version
bbb-install: failed to start Postgres service - retry to resolve

This looks like a docker problem. How can I fix this?

Hi,

can't say for sure but, since you mention docker, and ubuntu comes with a sort of outdated version, I would install the latest docker engine direct from docker's repositories.
When installing BBB I always go this way with docker.

Hi there,

docker is used for the internal conversion by a default installation of BBB for e.g. powerpoint to svg.

We run into the issue because we use ESM on ubuntu. The dockerverion of the origin ubuntu is not pinned. So it gets updated.
