Hi
I'd like install new freeswitch modules like mod_perl, mod_lua
I dont see modules.conf under freeswitch directories
But I see some modules .so files that comes bbb/freeswitch
How do I install new modules with existing bbb/freeswitch package
without breaking any freeswitch components?
thx

You should be able to install new modules in FreeSWITCH without
breaking BigBlueButton.

For instructions on how to install modules in FreeSWITCH, checkout the
FreeSWITCH documentation.

Fred
I looked at the freeswitch site
to install new modules it is talking about uncommenting lines in
modules.conf file
but as I looked I don't see any modules.conf file

http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Mod_perl
Uncomment the mod_perl line in modules.conf in the build root of
FreeSWITCH

thx

I think that is to enable loading the module, not the install

looks like we need to get the freeswitch source
has anyone tried this?
thx

Unfortunately, we use packaged FreeSWITCH.

What you are trying to do is compile modules for FS. Which means you
have to install FS from source.

You can try building the modules from a separate machine and dropping
them into BBB server. Not sure though about the dependencies.
Or remove FS from BBB and install FS from source.
