How to remove existing item from extensible area from plugin

Hi there

I am working to create plugin to allow our users to upload presentation file from our website library instead of direct upload.

in order to do that, i need to remove existing "slides" item from media area menu. can someone suggest me what is approach to remove it? via plugin sdk api

i am using BBB v3.1 beta
