Hello,

I successfully installed Greenligth 2.3 using LDAP authentication.

However, I had difficulty understanding the authentication failure after setting LDAP parameters in the .env file.

The documentation is missing the need to install ldap-rails as a mandatory requirement.

I didn't see this in the documentation: https://docs.bigbluebutton.org/greenlight/gl-customize.html#ldap-auth

After installation with "gem install ldap-rails" command, authentication was OK

Hi Luiz,

We use the "net-ldap" gem in Greenlight which takes care of all configuration needed for LDAP to work (it is also what the ldap-rails gem uses).

Make sure that you apply .env changes once you've made changes.
