Voice transcription - Speech-to-text

Hi, 

I am looking for a solution to transcript the Audio recorded to Text. Specially, if exist something free.
I found https://github.com/bigbluebutton/text-track-service that I think it´s a starting point very nice, but I have no experience with "Speech to text"

Also, the language would be Portuguese and I am just finding good Pre-Trained models just in English.

If someone here already did some integration and would like to give me a hint, I appreciate.

I need something to use within BBB server. There are a lot of apps doing transcription, but is not what I need.

I think you'll require to do some tricks in freeswitch directly, if you have plan for live conversion. You can have a look here:

So, that way you can customized your own. Someone have more experience on this can give better ideas.

What about adding some Google Cloud APIs that can do Speech to text and then translate to Portuguese using translation API? Or would you like to use your own model?

Yes, you should do that but if you want live conversion then need to use freeswitch to catch audio & send to your provider to get text. Then inject that text to BBB interface. I think that will be correct steps.
