iPhone application development

I have planned to develop an iPhone application in which it will need to send some of the data from iPhone to web application i.e. to ASP.NET. May I need to upload a file from iPhone application to ASP.NET web server and I need to save the file in SQL Server. Kindly advice me how can I achieve this, and provide me if there any links/resources available for this.
