Hi everyone. Been out of the loop with work and rebuilding my house this last year. The car has been in the trailer most of the time. I keep tabs with the web site and watch all your adventures. If you get MC2 magazine go to the "your words,your wheels" section and you will see a brief write up on my 130 club effort last year at Bonneville. (Darby is not in S. Dakota, their mistake.) It was a hoot but much harder than I thought it would be. You only get 1 mile to the speed trap. Can't even get into 6th gear. Only MINI at that session. The car was a novelty and attracted a lot of attention in the pits. 

Be careful this winter and hopefully I can join you for a road trip this summer. Steve Lilburn

Nice to hear from you. I did see the Bonneville writeup, it was great. And you probably saw the current MC2 articles about Mini Classic Bonneville runs. Just to set foot on the Salt was exciting for me back in 2007 (I think it was). But to actually make a run, must be a real hoot!
