Stop the Wars! Stop the Violence!

Hate only breads more hate. Violence only breads more violence. At the White House Correspondence’ Dinner, hate and violence, like chickens, once again came home to roost. Very sad! Political violence, and all other forms of violence, are on the rise. Together, we must stop it.

This is where we are today. Our world is on the violent precipice of extinction through Climate Catastrophe and Global Nuclear War. The World Meteorological Association (WMO) says the world is heating up at the rate of 12 Hiroshima size bombs exploded every second. Drill Baby Drill”, raging storms and wildfires, and “Bomb Iran back to the Stone Ages where they belong,” all go together, hand in hand.

The choice is not between violence and nonviolence but between nonviolence and nonexistence.”
— Martin Luther King Jr.

Spoken more than 50 years ago! Still true, but are we listening?
