In recent weeks, Hawaii has seen some of the most intense rain and wind (Kona low) storms in memory. And let’s not forget the Lahaina wildfire a few years ago and other wildfires since in Hawaii, California, and throughout the world. Global warming is accelerating. Increasing climate extremes are happening causing catastrophic flooding and a burning planet! Immediate action is needed to reverse this path to extinction.
Donald Trump is a Climate Crisis Denier. Lets make the connection of climate crisis to the US military and wars. The US military is the largest institutional consumer of oil and the largest emitter of CO2 on the planet. According to the World Meteorological Organization (WMO's) latest State of the Global Climate report, planet earth is trapping heat at the rate equivalent to 12 Hiroshima size bombs detonated every second.
