Please Call Gov. Ige's office 1-808-586-0034 and email him through Gov. website https://governor.hawaii.gov/contact-us/

Urge him to VETO HB 499. See below. Mahalo and solidarity.

Aloha Governor Ige,

I'm Jim Albertini, president of Malu Aina Center for Non-violent Education & Action in Ola'a (Kurtistown) on Hawaii Island. Please veto HB 499 on lease extensions of public trust lands. This seems to provide special treatment for corporate interests and the military. Make the military fully clean up their mess at Pohakuloa, Makua, etc., not partial like at Kaho'olawe. Return the lands to the public trust not special interests.
