We've had a very exciting month! If you haven't heard already, our brewery location was recently finalized when our variance was approved by the City Zoning Board. We'll be brewing in downtown Buffalo! The brewery will be located at the corner of Ellicott and Huron streets. The story was recently detailed in the Buffalo News, Buffalo Business First, and Buffalo.com. Celebrate Buffalo! Check out our blog post below for more information.

Whats in the fridge?
Who?:
Maine Beer Co. - MO
What?:
American Pale Ale - 6.0%
Where?:
Freeport, Maine
Why?:
This is a beautiful pale ale that pours a gorgeous golden color, with a thick white head that hangs around. Its lemony citrus and mango aroma is a perfect match for what the senses are looking for on a beautiful August evening. Its a well balanced hop forward ale as you would expect from any great pale ale.

Blogging: The Reveal
We’ve done many tastings and events over the course of the last year or so. The question we get asked more than any other is: “So, where‘s your brewery?”
To which my (initially witty and probably to this point overdone) response was: “Right now, in Corey’s garage. And, sometimes we’ll mix it up and brew in my kitchen.”
Well, those days are pretty much over. Read More
Whats brewing?
WOW! It feels like we've said this before (oh wait - we have) but - we're out of beer!
So we're back at it with a big brew schedule ahead. In the past few weeks we've made 10 gallons of our Golden Ale as well as our Glacier IPA. Most recently at the Bidwell Farmers Market we brewed a "Buffalo Lambic" (if there is such a thing) using locally supplied fruit as yeast. Hopefully, it will be funky, sour, and refreshing. It will take a year to finish (if not more) - so we'll let you know how it goes!
In the coming weeks we'll be brewing our Rye Brown Ale, a new version of our Blonde Peach summer seasonal (this next batch will have a few small tweaks since the last batch), and our fall-seasonal: Cinnamon Apple Ale, an American amber ale brewed with apples, cinnamon, oatmeal, and allspice. It’s crazy that fall is already on its way, but this beer makes us feel a little better about it. We’ll also be brewing some experimental test batches – we’ll tell you more about them next month…

Dear Sam Mule
Dear Sam,
I wanted to say congrats on the big news. It’s nice to see that all of your effort is finally starting to pay off! I’ve tried your beers a few times and I’m looking forward to the day that I can actually buy a growler or two. So what’s next? How long until you guys can start breaking ground on your location? -Paul Flanagan-
Thank you for the kind words! We’ve come a long way but there’s still a lot to do. First off, we need to finish filing for our federal and state licensing. Note: this could take some time... After that, we’ll be working to prepare for our equipment arrival. We do hope to start some of the preliminary construction soon as well. It seems like there’s very little time to stop and catch our breath, but we are getting closer to opening every day! Thank you again for all the support!
