Is it possible to use Big Bench on Windows?

You will need to ensure the following minimum required components can be built on Windows. Apache documentation is a good place to start https://wiki.apache.org/hadoop/Hadoop2OnWindows

1. HDFS
2. YARN
3. HIVE
4. SPARK

You also want to install BASH, since parts of the benchmark driver are implemented using shell scripts. You can do so either with the Linux Subsystem for Windows [1], Cygwin [2], or Git Bash for Windows [3].

Since the vast majority of BigBench users is using it in Linux environments, it would be nice if you would come back with some feedback on your experience running BigBench on Windows.
