I've bought one of this new addonics NAS dongle :

http://www.addonics.com/products/nas30u2.php

It is a bifferboard inside with 256MB of RAM and an expansion board with GB ethernet and dual USB.

Does anybody here has hacked it up already ?

Thanks for sharing.

I sincerely doubt it has 256 megabytes of ram - it's probably 256
megabits ( = 32 megabytes, same as current bifferboards).

Dunno, I guess it depends if it's still an RDC3210 CPU or whether it's
something different in order to cope with the gigabit ethernet.

You're right : it has a NANYA NT5DS16M16DS 256Mb chip.

In fact, although the PCBs have the same shape as the dual USB
bifferboard, it appears to be an ARMv4 board with a CAVIUM CNS-2183
@250Mhz.

SnakeOS can be run on it (but not in the flash that is only 1MB).

I will try to find the RS232 pinouts on the board to catch the
bootloader...
