Hello everyone,
Has anyone here tried to use the Bifferboard without its IO board? If
we power it at 3.3V directly and solder an external USB connector and
link it to the two USB DATA pins and power it at 5V, could we get a
simple serial + USB board? I'm thinking of cases where the LEDs and
Ethernet might not be needed, where a simple host USB port and the
serial (the console) would be enough.

I've got a feeling you need two 100 ohm series resistors on the
USB data lines, maybe some connectors have them built in,
or you don't need them for short cable lengths though.
