Purpose: This community service aimed to introduce the students of XI class of SMK Muhammadiyah 9 Jakarta Accounting Department to accounting software that has reference standards in the field of financial accounting as well as guidelines regarding tax regulations applied in Indonesia in preparing financial reports to become more manageable, effective, efficient, and accurate.
Method: The method was giving lectures in the form of accounting cycle theory and practicum methods, in which participants practice the use of accounting software, namely Zahir Accounting version 5.1, through a briefing from the instructor assisted by the Computer Laboratory Assistant and Secretarial Student Assistant from the Budi Luhur Academy of Secretary.
Results: The results showed that the training participants could easily use Zahir Accounting and compile financial reports effectively and accurately. Prior to this, the students did know Zahir Accounting software.
Conclusion: The results of this activity impact the teaching and learning process in partner places, namely, by using Zahir Accounting software to replace MYOB Accounting, which is included in the school curriculum.
Yumary: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat is Indonesian Academic Journal focusing on publishing scientific works related to community services, including current topics and issues based on service activities done by the authors. This aims to significantly contribute to improve the prosperity of Indonesian society.
Zahir Accounting is simple and user friendly accounting software. It would be useful for a range of industries such as trading and distribution, retail, services, contractor, manufacture, and even nonprofit organizations. Features available can be broadly categorized into bilingual accounts, inventory, assembling, disassembling, project & costing department, fixed assets, procurement and sales orders, multi currency, inter branch data synchronization, link to Zahir POS, serial number, lot number and expiry dates, financial statements wizard, predictive transactions, reports, drill down reports, charts and break-even point analysis, ratio analysis and multi user. Depending on the versions you buy some features are included and others may be dropped. All the versions are multi user, you need to buy as many copies as you want to use the package on.
The small business version, for example, has inventory, link to Zahir POS, drill down reports, chart & breakeven point analysis, ratio analysis, etc. while the enterprise version has all the features mentioned. The interface makes the program simple to use. There is no need for you to understand the accounting theory. You could easily pay the invoice, enter sales, print invoice and financial statement automatically. Clicking the simple icons on the tool bar takes you to the appropriate module. The best thing to do, when you are on the lookout for a simple yet efficient accounting package, is to make a preliminary selection of the features that you need. Get the trial version and exercise the package in your exact usage scenario It. should prove to be a good tool, in most situations.

Akuntansi sebagai seni pencatatan, penggolongan, pengikhtisaran dengan cara tertentu
dalam ukuran moneter, transaksi, dan kejadian-kejadian yang umumnya bersifat
keuangan termasuk menafsirkan hasil-hasilnya. Dalam hal ini menuntut adanya
minimalisir kesalahan pencatatan transaksi perusahaan yang merupakan langkah awal
dalam menyajikan laporan yang sifatnya sangat penting dalam menafsirkan kinerja
perusahaan, namum bila dalam pencatatannya saja terdapat kesalahan seperti salah
nominal maka akan mempengaruhi laporan keuangan yang dibuat sehingga membuat
para pemilik kepentingan salah dalam menafsirkan keadaan perusahaan yang
sebenarnya. Dengan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin maju maka semakin
banyak hadir aplikasi yang dapat membantu perusahaan dalam membantu kegiatan
akuntansi salah satunya adalah Zahir Accounting Versi. 6.0 yang digunakan oleh
berbagai kalangan baik sekolah, universitas bahkan perusahaan. Klinik Mawar Medika
adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang jasa kesehatan yang kegiatan
akuntansinya masih dilakukan secara manual yang meningkatkan risiko kesalahan
dalam salah menyajikan laporan keuangan. Dengan aplikasi Zahir Accounting Versi.
6.0 maka pengguna hanya perlu memasukkan transaksi keuangan yang dengan
otomatis oleh Zahir Accounting Versi. 6.0 dibuatkan laporan keuangan secara lengkap.

the its results. In this case it demands a minimalizing error recording of the company
which is the first step in presenting a report that is very important in interpreting the
performance of the company, as if in its record Mistakes like any nominal then will
affect the financial statements made so as to make the owners of interest wrong in
interpreting the actual state of the company. With the development of advanced
technology, more and more present applications that can help the company in assisting
accounting activities one of them is Zahir Accounting version. 6.0 are used by various
circles of good schools, even university companies. Mawar Medika Clinic is a
company engaged in the health services that the accounting activity is still done
manually which increases the risk of error in presenting financial statements. With the
application Zahir Accounting version. 6.0 then users only need to enter a financial
transaction that is automatically by Zahir Accounting version. 6.0 complete financial
statements.

Manually accounting processing has more risks compared using a computerized system. For example, in the simplest terms of journal entry, there is often a doubling, or twice the input with the same memorandum number in different transactions. This make an imbalance of ledgers and financial reports that are made later, this is what happens to PD. Mitrasarana Komputindo which still uses the manual system in preparing its financial statements. Most of the data recording is using Microsoft Excel, from customer and vendor data, account data, general journals till financial reports. This can have an impact on financial statements ineffective and requires a long time because all data is not directly related. The occurrence of errors can also result in inaccuracies in the financial statements produced and delays in finding the data needed. PD Mitrasarana Komputindo requires an accounting application can make it easy to process financial data and business decisions quickly and accurately. Then it can reduce errors that can occur in processing financial data and if we want to find the data it will be easier and faster than recording data in writing. Using Zahir Accounting 5.1 version be an alternative in processing existing data, and expected to reduce errors, both in the input and calculation process.

Kemajuan teknologi yang semakin berkembang pesat saat ini, sangat menuntut suatu informasi yang lebih baik agar data yang diperoleh dapat lebih akurat. Komputer adalah salah satu bentuk dari teknologi yang saat ini banyak digunakan. Dengan menggunakan komputer sebuah perusahaan dapat lebih mudah dalam melakukan pengolahan sebuah data keuangan. Salah satu Software akuntansi yang banyak digunakan suatu perusahaan yakni Software Zahir Accounting Versi 5.1. PT. Sasana Kencana Anugrah merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang perdagangan dan jasa yang dalam pencatatan semua data keuangan masih secara manual, semua transaksi seperti penerimaan, pendapatan penjualan dan arus kas. Dengan diterapkan Software Zahir Accounting versi 5.1 diharapkan proses pengolahan data yang berhubungan dengan keuangan sampai pembuatan laporan berjalan sesuai kebutuhan perusahaan. Dengan menggunakan Software Zahir Accounting versi 5.1 merupakan solusi dalam memecahkan berbagai permasalahan yang berhubungan dengan pengolahan data keuangan yang ada pada perusahaan ini, dengan menggunakan suatu sistem yang sudah terkomputerisasi dapat tercapai suatu kegiatan yang efektif dalam menunjang aktifitas pada perusahaan ini.

Technological advances that are growing rapidly at this time, really demand a better
information so that the data obtained can be more accurate. Computers are one form
of technology that is currently widely used. By using a computer, a company can more
easily process financial data. One of the accounting software that is widely used by a
company is Zahir Accounting Software Version 5.1. PT. Sasana Kencana Anugrah is
a manufacturing company engaged in trade and services which records all financial
data manually, all transactions such as receipts, sales revenue and cash flow. With the
implementation of Zahir Accounting Software version 5.1, it is expected that the data
processing related to finance to the preparation of reports runs according to the
company's needs. By using Zahir Accounting Software version 5.1 is a solution in
solving various problems related to financial data processing in this company, by
using a computerized system, an effective activity can be achieved in supporting
activities in this company.
