I've been playing minecraft Windows 10 edition for a long time but a couple of weeks ago when i tried to log in, the launcher started freezing at the initial loading screen with the bars and lines that move around. After reloading many times i decided to try to reinstall the launcher. I uninstalled the launcher and went to the microsoft store to reinstall but when i click install/install on devices the button depresses but nothing happens. MC Windows 10 appears in "ready to download" but when i click install it doesnt show up anywhere and nothing at all happens. The install button disappears but MC does not show up in "downloads". I've tried scanning for viruses/malware that may be interfering to no avail. My microsoft store also refuses to update for some reason, as every time i click "Get updates" the loading ring just sits there forever without initiating anything. Im paying monthly for a server at the moment aswell which makes this extra frustrating and im missing out on a lot that my friends are doing right now. If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this i would appreciate it greatly. I send a message to minecraft support about two weeks ago but still have not even heard back from them.

Thanks guys. I have tried most of those Microsoft store reset options and they don't appear to work. On command prompt it doesn't seem to do anything when i input the string, and same with running the actual application from System32. I've heard that you cant really see it working because no text shows up but i've left it sitting for a few minutes and it still doesn't seem like its doing anything. In powershell, i inputted the string and got red text reading "The package could not be installed because a higher version of the package is already installed". Resetingn on the App manager advanced settings also has not worked.

So recently I bought Minecraft and decided to add some mods. so when I went to install Minecraft forge, it would not work. I try to install it but nothing happens. can someone please help me understand either what I'm doing wrong or what is going wrong with the installation.

Curse/Overwolf: If you are using the Curse Launcher, their configurations break Forge's log settings, fortunately there is an easier workaround than I originally thought, this works even with Curse's installation of the Minecraft launcher as long as it is not launched THROUGH Twitch:

When you have an issue with your mod the most helpful thing you can do when asking for help is to provide your code to those helping you. The most convenient way to do this is via GitHub or another source control hub.

When setting up a GitHub Repo it might seem easy to just upload everything, however this method has the potential for mistakes that could lead to trouble later on, it is recommended to use a Git client or to get comfortable with the Git command line. The following instructions will use the Git Command Line and as such they assume you already have it installed and that you have created a repository.

well when you go to Minecraft forge I press the "installer" button for the 1.14.3 version. it saves to my downloads but after that I have tried to open it. it opens with internet explorer and asks me if I want to open it or save it. I have tried doing both but nothing really happens

so I did not know what windows command prompt was either, so I looked it up and did what they said and typed java-version and I got the first picture, but then I realized I typed it in wrong and retyped it and got the 2nd picture

I tried to install minecraft on my computer, but it won't display on-screen. I went to and downloaded the jar file. I put the launcher on the desktop and tried to run it. It did not download minecraft. I can see the Java icon on the program bar, but it doesn't show on-screen.

I'd like to install minecraft on my imac (OS X Yosemite 10.10.1). I'vd downloaded the application, but when I try to open it, I have a message saying that I need to rinstalle an old version of Java SE 6, and I don't manage to find it online. Can you help me?

NOTE: This new version does NOT require you to install Java separately like it did in the past. Therefore, if you are getting prompted to install Java, then you are using an OLD version of the installer. You should uninstall all standalone versions of Java from your Mac, and then follow the instructions above.

hi eric thanks for the quick response . i noticed afterwards it was an old thread so didn't count on getting one . it seems i need more help then i thought , i went on to d/l minecraft anyway but it won't install . its saying i have version mac os x 10.7.2 and i need 10.8 or later . i went on to install updates overnight and tried again but i think i need to buy the new software . trying to get directed to the store and finding what i need is proving challenging for some reason and i'm completely out of touch with apple products . also when i D/L mine craft said i had a free windows 10 version of mine craft , iv only just bought this macbook refurbished but certain it had windows 10 yet dont now how to check and can't seem to get the windows 10 mine craft version in my sights but one thing at a time if you or anyone could help direct me to the right software and go from there i would appreciate it . thanks

No. Standalone Java installs are no longer needed for the Mac or Windows versions of Minecraft. The new installers for Minecraft for Mac, and the portable .exe version for Windows actually include a bundled and optimized version of Java. This not only allows it to be automatically updated as part of the launcher but also means that Mac and Windows users that had Java installed on there machines in the past just to play Minecraft can now uninstall it completely and far more secure.

I had ryzen master 2.0.0.1192 installed and working yesterday using my 2700x. I then updated to beta bios for my MSI B450I motherboard and put in my 3700x cpu. Upon start of windows when it tried to launch ryzen master I got something like "CPU not supported" or similar. I then uninstalled and reinstalled Ryzen master and after that I get the "driver not installed properly" on every start of ryzen master, so I cant get it running at all.

Same exact issue... was able to get it working once and then that was it. Getting the same error message. Asus Rog X470-i / 3700X. Also had the issue with Aura.. interestingly enough lol was able to get it working by uninstalling every component of Aura and reinstalling, but my motherboard's rgb still isn't recognized so that's still crappy.

Having the exact same issue with the Ryzen Master app not installing and uninstalling properly (Driver not installed!). Ryzen 3700X with an MSI x570 A-Pro motherboard. It's become super annoying and the stock motherboard settings have the CPU voltage at 1.47V...

After continuing to encounter this issue and after experimenting more about what causes it, it seems that waiting a short time after the desktop appears, perhaps 30 seconds, can help with launching Ryzen Master. But once it gets "damaged", uninstalling + rebooting + re-installing may be necessary.

Ryzen Master seems quite sensitive to any changes made to the BIOS/CMOS setup. Such a change sometimes requires a re-install of the software. In addition, any kind of CPU or system instability, such as a crash while testing overclocking settings, tends to require a re-installation of Ryzen Master.

I am able to install AMD Ryzen Master or so the app tells me. When I select "Launch" nothing happens. It is not installed and there are no Registry entries to be found on RyzenMaster or Ryzen Master to remove as suggested. This is a brand new Windows 10 installation and if highly frustrating....

What you should do is start RegEdit and under HKey_Local_Machine, System, CurrentControlSet, Services, RyzenMasterDriver (it might have a number behind it - see below) and make sure that the path to the file "AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys" is properly entered under the option, "ImagePath".

If you have done a default installation of Ryzen Master then you should be seeing this "\??\C:\Program Files\AMD\RyzenMaster\bin\AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys". If you see something else then replace whatever garbage has been put in there with what I have in quotes above (DON'T copy the quotation marks).

If you have multiple entries for AMDRyzenMasterDriver with different numbers preceded by a "V" (which relates to the version number) currently that would be "V19" then delete the entry or entries with the lower "V" numbers and then check what I posted above.

If you have 2 folder with similar names > AMDRyzenMasterDriver > AMDRyzenMasterDriverV14,15,18,19 whatever version, delete this one AMDRyzenMasterDriverV?.

Now select the carpet and go to "Image Path" if this path looks like "\??\C:\Program Files\AMD\RyzenMaster\bin\AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys" it's corrupted > Click right and MODIFY and copy this path " C:\Program Files\AMD\RyzenMaster\bin\AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys " OK and Restart your computer and Problem Fixed.

I get an error every time I try to download bedrock for Minecraft weather it be through the launcher off the website off Xbox app or even MS store. My MS store and Xbox account are the same I have logged out re downloaded both repaired and restarted both to no avail everything like ms store xbox app and mc launcher is installed on my C: drive so its all in the same location. I've done every guide on the internet to no avail I just want to play minecraft with my girlfriend. here are links to all the stuff I tried with people having the same issue. Where some stuff works for some theres a large majority of us that can't get it fixed no matter what and just quit trying but I wanna play this game I reset windows down to factory mode and im still getting this issue its insane.
