Good afternoon!

On Wednesday, September 16, 2015, a collaboration of local organizations including Catholic Charities, Inc. – Seton Center, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Shore Up!, Inc. and Telamon Corporation, with support from Choptank Electric Cooperative and Delmarva Power will host Somerset County’s first Community Access to Resources Expo (Somerset CARE 2015). This unique event will give area organizations an opportunity to share information about their products, programs and services; meet potential candidates for employment and network with other professionals.

The daylong event will take place in the UMES Campus Student Services Center Ballroom beginning at 10:00 AM and ending at 7:00 PM to accommodate attendee work schedules. We anticipate several hundred Somerset County residents will participate throughout the day. As a vital member of the Lower Eastern Shore community, we invite you to participate in this resource-filled day.

Information regarding sponsorship and/or exhibitor is attached. Please note the response date of August 21st, 2015. Please circulate this announcement through your local networks! We appreciate your help in spreading the news about this event!

Advertising for Somerset CARE 2015 will begin formally on August 24^th for attendees once vendors, sponsors and exhibitors are confirmed.
