I am a muslim belong to shia sect. i researched on internet about sheik abdul qadir gilani known as ghous e azam i come to know that her mother belongs from the decendent of imam hussain a.s while his father belongs from the direct decendent of imam hassan a.s so want to know what's the status of ghous-e-azam in our sect just for knowledge.
It is controverisal whether abdul qadir jilani was actually a syed or not. His followers do believe that both his mother and father were syeds, however it is disputed with evidence which suggests otherwise. Check this thread where this has been discussed:- __st__100
he wrote a book namely " qashaf almajoob" and read bit of that book many years ago in which he writes that we shouldnt condemn Yazeed and his actions because Allah and Ghafoor and Rahim so Allah may forgive yazeed on the day of judgement.
He might be a descandant of imam hassan(as) only from his father's side but his mother family tree is fake because imam ali raza(as) didnt have a son named isa as sufis claim he is forefather of abdul qadir gilani from mother side.
salam, in the book then i was guided tijani just writes a person told him abdul qadir gilani didnt say about being a sayyid. You really think thats enough proof to refute him being hasanid? or maybe you think every sayyid in past wrote a statment that he belongs to sadaat family? Dont you know how abbasids were persecuting sayyids? he wasnt against ahlul- bayt(as). read vird e kubra by abdul qadir in which he praises 12 imams(as). on the contrary he may have been a shia in taqiyya.
The Prophet dearly loved Abdul Qadir Jilani that he foretold his birth/arrival. And Abdul Qadir was soo special that only he could understand all the secret of Islam and there was no one else that come close to his knowledge and piety.
That book is tampered. in same book its written hanafis will go to hell. it goes against sunnis and shias so in this case who did he follow? many scholers declared this book to be unauthentic or tampered with.
Apparently, "Sayyid" Baha al-Din Naqshband Bukhari, the founder of the Naqshbandi tariqa, was a descendant of Imam Hasan al-Askari (as). I have no clue how that's possible considering that Sunni genealogists agree the Imam (as) had no heir while Shia genealogists agree that his only heir went into hiding. You are looking at it this way that if any muslim does something wrong so that means our prophet(saw) taught us that? when it comes to genealogy from sufis you dont acceptt it but you accept what his followers say about abdul qadir gilani having bad opinion about shias lol cmon thats double standard.
not that i agree with sufis claim of genealogy but many shia books wrote he was syed from father's side. sufis dont even know how about sons of imams and turn blind eye in declaring his maternal tree fake. i emailed one of sites and they didnt even listen to me but asked brother are you shia or sunni? lol like me being shia changes the fact imam Ali reza(as) didnt have son named issa kamal u din.
i really dont know what this is about or anything about this topic but, just because your from imam hussain or a syed doesnt make you a pious person, the people who killed the imams were their own family members during and after Al Sadiq life time by the abbasids.....even if he likes the 12 imams yet he is a bad person or has something opposite of what the imams preach, stay away from him.... Anyway, what is the name of that book? The Sufi woman I met had that book. She was clutching it to her heart. Keep insisting that all the wisdoms and true Islamic/spiritual insights were known to Abdul Qadir Jilani and this is the book of his teaching.
Salam, he is not only master of sufis but only qadiri suf order which is largest among sufis. many books books are attributed to him. maybe you are talking about ghuniyat ul talibeen because that the book i usually see mention by shias that abdul qadir gilani called us bad. That book is not authentic according to many sunni scholers. tahir ul qadri is among them.
People only take what they like from what they are given...................everyone of the awliyah karam had a high opinion for the Prophet and his ahle bait (a.s) and even preached it to their followers. But sadly most of the followers only accepted the teachings and things that matched their mindset and what they can comprehend, not the whole thing. As far as Abdul Qadir gillani is concerned he can be a shia in taqiyyah for his teachings were sufism which are thought of as a degraded form of shia islam due to the reason that it lacks the imamate of the 12r imams and someother stuff. The creed that he preached consists of 9 of the 12r imams and the vird-e-kubra consist of praise of all the 12 imams (which means that he believed imam mehdi (a.s) was already born) and i read in the "choda sitaray" that he decends from heaven on the maoselum of imam hussain (a.s) with 70,000 angels and mourns on his unjust murder which was reffered from ghuniya. and i also read on shia chat that he wrote his name Shaykh abu mohammed mohiuddin abdul qadir gillani al jafari in his letters. Wa Allah ul ilm.......as for his books ghunya and futuhat al ghaib they seem tampered to me, for instance in the book Shias are rendered kafir or jews (wahabis call us kafir), sunnis are rendered hell bound due to bidats (wahabis call them bidaati) but the funny thing is the book is flooded with beliefs that are related to wahabis e.g ibn tamiyah thing etc while all this time he was a sufi and in sufism there is no shia sunni (okay maybe a little bias but not totally or complete). and as for the stories associated with him there are exagerrated fabrications, not all maybe but most of them are. Wahabis tampered his books, sunnis tampered his teachings and sufis tampered his image. maybe that is why shias question his beliefs and lineage.........too much doubt due to too much fabrications. & About Abdul Qadir Gillani's lineage, he can be a sayyid (given the fact that due to the reason that being shia/syed/both were enough to get you and your family massacred during the purge many sayyids didnt openly admit who they were and what side they were and observed TAQIYYAH and as generations passed the information of true sect & caste faded away and the accepted what they thought they were (maybe there are still people out there who are sayyeds and dnt know it)) and a pious man. WA Allah UL ILM! wasalam. :)
Some people just say without knowing it. i read that Qasim bin imam hassan(as)'s mehndi story was fabricated 800 years after event of karbala but poeple just believe on it. i grew up hearing stories that came to be false when i read about them.
May I know from where are you? ^^ do you people has Mehndi of Qasim a.s at your place ? Please stick to the topic and don't derive the topic to somewhere else, you people think you are The only smart and educated people in the world and rest are just fools now can we stick to ghaus paak.
I just gave you an example of how we can get wrong information by people. i am not changing topic but just trying tell certain things. You even didnt provide where did you hear abdul qadir gilani lived during imam musa kazim(as).
