Hi BIDS folk,

I just stumbled upon this paper

Gholam, J., Szczepankiewicz, F., Aja-Fernandez, S., Jones, D. K., & Beltrachini, L. (2021). aDWI-BIDS: an extension to the brain imaging data structure for advanced diffusion weighted imaging, 1–17. Retrieved from http://arxiv.org/abs/2103.14485

and I was confused because I didn't find a corresponding BIDS Extension Proposal... is it BEP016?

If the authors (CC'd, except the first, James Gholam for whom I couldn't find an email) haven't initiated a BEP, can they please start the process?  Everything is spelled out here BIDS Extension Proposals: A Guide... there is a template and process outline for soliciting feedback.

Thanks!

-Tom

Hi Thomas,

Please see my post regarding this: https://groups.google.com/g/bids-discussion/c/GrZ59tZAqtg. This is more of a limited internal release, with the BEP following shortly. There is some small overlap with BEP016, though our proposal is concerned primarily with sequence activity in diffusion imaging, as opposed to derivatives in diffusion imaging.

Best,

James

Thanks James!   This looks like it'll be a really valuable addition to BIDS.
