Based in Harare, Zimbabwe, he currently serves as a Technical Officer for vaccine-preventable disease (VPD) surveillance, coordinating key programs across East and Southern Africa.
Professor Angela Hildu Mujuru
A pediatrician and professor in the Department of Child, Adolescent and Women’s Health at the University of Zimbabwe’s Faculty of Medicine and Child Health, specializing in pediatric infectious diseases. She has collaborated with the Ministry of Health and Child Care, WHO, and CDC on Rotavirus surveillance for over 10 years.
Professor Evans Mpabalwani
A pediatric infectious diseases specialist and virologist from the University of Zambia, with extensive experience in childhood infectious diseases, vaccines, and public health programs. He has led impactful research on rotavirus and pneumococcal vaccines, holds national and international advisory roles in immunization and child health, and currently serves as Acting Dean of the School of Medicine at the University of Zambia.
