The Community Engagement workstream of the Global Vaccination Demand Hub invites you to a technical clinic on community engagement on Wednesday, December 3 from 1:00 - 2:30 PM GMT (find your local time). This workstream is co-chaired by UNICEF and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. Read more about the Demand Hub.

This technical clinic, supported by Sabin’s Boost Community, will focus on the sharing of latest updates and country practices on community engagement for immunization. This clinic will showcase evidence-informed design, implementation, and data monitoring of Community Engagement initiatives in a diverse range of country contexts, and highlights country examples from India, Madagascar, and the United Republic of Tanzania, in mobilizing and co-creating with the community to increase demand and uptake of vaccines. Additionally, we will also get to learn from experts from various parts of the world – to understand how to systematically reach and effectively engage with communities.

Why Attend?

Together we will explore:

  • The role of community engagement in strategies to increase vaccine demand
  • How interventions in the community level can enhance vaccine demand and uptake
  • Latest updates, global guidance and country-level case studies of community engagement efforts, and good practices of community engagement on the ground

Join us for the session and for practical insights on community engagement to drive vaccine demand.

We look forward to your insights and engagement!
