Hello, all you lovely people!
I hope you have been staying warm and healthy this week of bitter cold weather. My week included a very early morning in NH where it was minus 9F when I arrived. BRRRRR. My cold has subsided into the usual sniffles that I have year 'round, so I am looking forward to dancing this weekend.
We have a Sunday afternoon dance this week, kicking off our new 4th Sundays dance. We are alternating mask-required and mask-optional, starting this weekend with mask-required. Hannah Chamberlain, from Portland, ME, will be calling her fun dances to tunes by Here on the Hill, a new band of Victoria Horner, Rosemary Powell, and Annie McDougal.
Timing is as follows: doors open for set up at 3 pm, lesson starts at 4 pm, dancing starts at 4:30 and runs until 7:30, hall cleaned up and we all go home by 8 pm.
We need the following shifts filled:
Early Door, 3:30-5, 1-2 people,
Late Door, 5-6, 1 person
Please let me know which shift you can fill by the usual reply methods. We'll see how these numbers work and can always adjust. And as always, you can dance on us for the rest of the afternoon, as well as take a ticket for a future dance.
Thank you for being part of our community, I look forward to seeing you all.
Cheers,
Persis
