Hello, all you all!
What a lovely sunny day we had today, after early morning rain. I will be visiting my daughter and her small humans for a couple of days this week, home on Saturday, just in time for the Sunday afternoon BIDA dance. There will be pictures!
Our 4th Sunday dances start with the lesson at 4 pm, dance 4:30-7:30 pm, alternating mask-required and mask-optional. This Sunday is Mask-Required, and there are plenty of masks for those dancers who do not bring one of their own. Northwoods (Molly Tucker, Casey Murray, and Sam Zakon-Anderson) will be playing their sublime tunes to dances called by Ben Sachs-Hamilton. It should be a great afternoon.
We have the following volunteer shifts available:
Set-up; 3-4:30, 1-2 people,
Early door; 3:30-5, 2-3 people,
Late door; 5-6, 1 person.
Please let me know which shift you can take, and remember that you will dance the rest of the afternoon on us, and also get a ticket for a future dance. Let me know by reply email or text to my phone number listed below.
As a heads up, the following dance, November 2, is my birthday, and I am looking for bakers who might be able to make a cake to contribute for the break. My finances are such that I am not sure I can afford enough to feed the crowd with Costco cakes, and will be baking at lest one myself. Please let me know if this is something you're interested in so I can plan.
I look forward to seeing you all soon,
Cheers,
Persis
