Hello, all you wonderful BIDA Volunteers!

My week has been turned upside down by the arrival of my newest small human, 8#, 8.8oz, at 10:12 pm on Wednesday, May 28. So far, no name, but he is nursing like a champ! I will be heading up to Vermont as soon a I finish my work today, so won't be at the dance on Sunday.

We have Maia McCormick calling on Sunday to tunes by Crossover (Carol Bittenson, Len Bittenson, and Alex Cumming). It should be a wonderful mask-optional dance.

We need the following volunteer shifts filled:
Set up; 6:15-7:30 pm, 1-2 people (bring things used for the dance out from under the stage storage and set up; signage, payment table boxes including masks, lights, water coolers, fans),
Early door; 6:30-8 pm, 1-2 people (greet people as they enter, answer payment questions, take money or offer venmo, tick off for attendance in correct time slot on financials sheet),
Late door; 8-9 pm, 1 person (same as for early door).

Please let me know which shift you can cover, and remember you get to dance the rest of the night on us, and also take a ticket for a future dance. I can be reached by return email and text or voice to 508-282-0089.

As a heads up, I will also be away at Maine Fiddle Camp in the middle of June (and will miss the next two BIDA dances), as part of the kitchen management staff, so will count on you all to step up and make the remaining two June dances run smoothly without me. I'll send out reminders to sign up. I'll be back late June, and will see you all at the last dance of the season in July. You can always sign up early for a shift, just let me know when you're available.

Cheers,

Persis
