Hello, my lovely BIDA Volunteers!
My apologies for the lateness in this email; I had an inconclusive positive Covid test on Thursday (two showed positive, two showed negative, and the PCR I had at my PCP's office yesterday has not come back yet...). Other than feeling stuffed in the sinuses, I think I am OK. Sadly, but for all of our good, I will NOT be at the mask-optional dance tomorrow, despite it being the Annual Meeting where you all vote for 3 board members (I am on the ballot this time around).
Our dance tomorrow has Hannah Chamberlain calling her wonderful dances to music by Sycamore (Cedar Stanistreet, Samuel Foucher, and Max Newman). It should be another amazing dance, and I wish I could be there.
As you know, BIDA runs on volunteers, and we could not have the successful inclusive dances we have without you all. Thank you for continuing to help out.
We need the following shifts filled:
Set up, 6:15-7:30 pm, 1 more person,
Early Door, 6:30-8 pm, 2-3 people,
Late Door, 8-9 pm.
You will dance the rest of the evening on us, and also get a ticket for a future dance as our thanks for volunteering.
Please let me know by reply email or text/voice to
508-282-0089.
I look forward to seeing you all at the April 19 dance.
Cheers,
Persis
