BIDA Dance This Sunday Afternoon, 1/25/2026

Hello, you all,

What a week I've had! I am heading to Peterborough on Saturday, and will continue on Sunday to save my sanity with lots of music and dancing. We've got a masked-optional afternoon dance on Sunday. Depending on the weather, we may have Chloe Levine calling, or Andrew Stout if the weather coming up the coast brings too much snow. The band will hopefully be Spring Tide (WIlly Clemetson, Elsie Gawler and Ethen Tischler), but may be some local musicians led by Rohan Weeden if the driving from the Snow Ball in Peterborough on the way to Maine is bad. BIDA rarely cancels, unless the T stops or the hall closes, and we'll keep you all posted. 

Any way it goes, the dance will be fun, and we need some help making this dance run smoothly. And that means you all! 

We need the following shifts:

set up, 3-4:30, 2 people,

early door, 3:30-5, 1 more person,

late door, 5-6, 1 person.

Please let me know which shift you can fill by reply email, text or voice to my phone listed in the signature. You'll dance the rest of the afternoon on us, and take a ticket for another dance later.

Hello, you all,

I have sad news, but it is for all our safety. Our dance this weekend, tomorrow January 25, is cancelled due to the winter storm and concerns about dancers getting home safely. Our next dance will be on February 1st.

Thank you for volunteering. For BIDA and supporting our dances and community. Please stay safe and warm tomorrow and Tuesday and I look forward to seeing you all in February.
