Hello, y'all lovely BIDA volunteers!
It's been a week. I took some furniture up to my daughter in Vermont over the weekend, danced to Countercurrent in Concord on Monday, and saw them again last night at Passim's.
We are lucky enough to be the last stop on Elixir's Farewell Tour, with Couple's Dancing from 6-7, lesson 7-7:30, and dance 7:30-10:30. Elixir is Nils Fredland calling and playing trombone, Anna Patton, Ethan Hazzard-Watkins, Jesse Redland, and Owen Morrison. We are in for a real treat.
Our dance on Sunday is set up differently from the usual dances; we sold tickets thru Brown Paper Tickets, and have a max of 300 people. We'll have the printed list of those people, and will ask that they be checked off on arrival so we can track attendance. I am hoping the list will be divided alphabetically so we can check off in a timely fashion. Never fear: if you did not get a ticket, you're covered as you can volunteer and dance the rest of the night on us.
Set up should be all set,
Early Early door, 5:30-6:30, need 3 people (have 1 already),
Early door, 6:30-8, need 3 people (have 1 already)
Lat door, 8-9, need 2 people (have 1 already).
Please let me know (either by reply email or text/voice to my phone
508-282-0089) which shift works best for you.
Looking forward to Sunday!
Cheers,
Persis
