Hello, you all!
This has been a week; I think I am finally caught up on sleep after BeanTown Stomp.
We have our 4th Sunday early dance this week (lesson 4-4:30, dance 4:30-7:30), plus a Family Dance (2:30-3:30) and Potluck (3:30-4:30)! Should be lots of fun; Luke Donforth will be calling both the family dance and the regular dance, with Alex Cumming leading the Family Dance BIDA Open Band, and Sycamore (Cedar Stanistreet, Samuel Foucher and Michael Sokolovsky) playing for our 4:30 mask-required dance.
We need the following shifts filled:
set-up, 2-3-ish, 1-2 people (setting up the hall with lights, fans, water coolers, and signs which are stored below the stage)
early early door, 2:15-3:30, 1-2 people (take money and make tick marks for each attendee),
early door, 3:30-5, 1-2 people (take monety and make tick marks for each attendee).
If you are new to BIDA volunteering, we will teach you what is involved with each shift, and a hall manager will be available for any questions.
Please let me know which shift you'd like to fill, by return email, or text/voice to the number listed below.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday,
Cheers,
Persis
