Merry May, all you wonderful people!
May Morning on the Charles this morning was chilly and a bit damp to start, but turned into a nice day. Those Morris Dancers certainly did their job of dancing the sun up as we turn towards summer.
We have the first of three May dances coming up on Sunday; it’s mask optional, with Derek Kalish calling to the music of Tea for Three (Hadley Stockwell, Crystal Zhu & Abi Sandy). It should be another fabulous evening.
I hope you all know that we and I, appreciate your continued dedication towards making our dances as successful as they are; we are only as good as our volunteers!
We are looking for the usual shifts; set up, early door and late door.
Set up; 6:15-7:30 (or when done), 1-2 people,
Early door, 6:30-8, 1-2 people,
Late door, 8-9, 1 person.
Please let me know (by reply email, text or voice to
508-282-0089) which shift you’d like, and remember our new volunteer incentive of another dance ticket in addition to dancing the rest of this dance on us. I am thinking of how to make them special, any ideas would be entertained.
I look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
Cheers,
Persis
