Hello, you all,
I am so so sorry to leave this until today. My week has been just a week; my job ends this morning and BeanTown Stomp starts tonight, I got home late last night from 2 days of travel and a last assessment for my project, and I put my sweet Berkeley to sleep on Tuesday morning. I am coping, but hugs will be greatly appreciated. This weekend is a very much needed thing for my soul and my sanity.
We have our regular dance on Sunday, with Alex Deis-Lauby calling to tunes from Larry Unger, Julie Metcalf, and Max Newman. It should be another hoppin' BIDA dance, and we can use your help.
We won't need set up folks, as the hall should be ready to go after our weekend of dancing, but we will need extra help clearing everything out at the end of the night jus-t to make sure we get the hall back to its usual shape. Early and late door people would be great; please let me know if you want a description of these duties.
Please let me know by reply email or text to my phone if you can take either of these shifts.
Early door, 6:30-8, 1-2 people
Late door, 8-9, 1 person.
As a thank you for volunteering, you will dance the rest of the evening on us, and get a ticket for a future dance.
Looking forward to seeing people either this weekend or on Sunday evening.
Cheers,
Persis
