Are you interested in learning how to run sound for dances? Are you a musician or caller who'd like to know what the sound people are doing? Jeff Kaufman will be running an introductory workshop on Thursday 3/30, aimed at taking you from whatever your current level of knowledge is to a basic understanding of what the components are, how they work together to amplify the performers, and what your role is in facilitating the event.

If you're interested in joining BIDA's sound mentoring program (https://blog.bidadance.org/2017/03/sound-mentoring-program.html) or running sound at NEFFA, this is a good place to start.

RSVP to je...@jefftk.com for address (West Somerville). Please wear a high-filtration (KN95, N95 or similar) mask. The location is on the second floor, up one and a half flights of stairs. There are a few parking permits; include in your RSVP if you need one.

Come any time after 5:45pm; we'll start the instruction at 6:15pm.
