Hi BIDA Musicians,

Are you interested in learning how to run sound for dances or other folk events?  Do you not want to run sound but just want a better understanding of how it works?  I'm going to be running two workshops:

* Thursday 3/28: Introductory Workshop.  Aimed at taking you from whatever your current level of knowledge is to a basic understanding of what the components are, how they work together to amplify the performers, and what your role is in facilitating the event.

* Wednesday 4/3: Advanced/Refresher Workshop.  Aimed at people who already know most of what I cover in the introductory workshop, but would like more detail on how it all really works.

If you're interested in joining BIDA's sound mentoring program (https://blog.bidadance.org/2017/03/sound-mentoring-program.html) or running sound at NEFFA, this is a good place to start.

Space and parking are limited; RSVP to je...@jefftk.com for address (West Somerville). The location is on the second floor, up one and a half flights of stairs, and we have two cats.

Doors open 6:15pm, arrive by 6:40 if you don't want to miss anything.

Jeff
