Anyone heard from Mark to see how he survived the hurricane. His city Ashville NC is in the headlines and really suffered from the flooding. Fran

Any updates about Mark, but it’s concerning to hear about the flooding in Asheville, NC. I recommend reaching out to him via text or social media if you haven't already. It's also a good idea to check local news sources for information on recovery efforts and safety updates. Hopefully, he and everyone else affected are safe.

Sorry not to reply to the list sooner!

I'm fine and now living in Crozet VA.  a week before Helene hit Asheville, we had just bought a house up here, about 300 miles north of Asheville.  Our younger daughter lives here. Crozet, like Asheville, is about 10 miles east of the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Because of Helene, we still own our house in Asheville, but, unlike many houses in Asheville,  it was not seriously damaged. We moved up here temporarily  six days after Helene, and then, after Asheville  power and water was restored. moved back to Asheville to deal with getting that house ready to sell. We permanently moved back up here on the 9th of December.
