1987 Trek 520 24" FS

I have a friend who wants to sell his stock 1987 Trek 520 Cirrus. 24 inch frame. I have not seen the bike and I don’t know exactly how it’s set up, but the stock configuration was Shimano Deore. He says it’s in good rideable condition as it sits, but again, I have not seen it with my own eyes. The bike is in central Illinois at the moment.
