Hi Everyone!

One last bump. We need the provide and estimate on burritos, you can choose a burrito in the store, but I have to let Mo know (owner of Hot Shop Burrito place next to Mary and Joe’s) this Saturday how many - so he can order supplies.

So please, if you are coming, sign up by Friday or you are likely to have to purchase your burrito if you want one!!!

Appreciate it, unjinx looks like a super day!

Thank you!

TB

Nicely said Nate. Thank you!

Additonally, Mr Dewies, BBC's 2025 Platinum Sponsor, arranged it so that everyone who participates, will be offered a free dairy-free ice cream!! This of course goes well while having fun with finishers who are enjoying burritos, drinks and stories from the ride! Hope to see you out there. TB

Hey Everyone BBC,

In a few weeks, Monarch Racing is going to have their annual fundraising ride here in the East Bay (Sat 12/14 starting in Albany, with route options). They also have a GoFundMe. This will directly support the next generation of competitive athletes. You can even see an accounting of the '24 season budget here to get an idea of where the money goes.

The funds raised will create opportunities for these wonderful athletes to get to races, get lodging, and to have the equipment they need to train and race. The team is also actively working to create opportunities for juniors in the new junior program. And, each year Monarch riders pay it back to their community by donating their time doing community rides, mentoring events, etc. etc.

If you're able to join the ride, it'll be a fun time with food and drinks. If you're able to support the GoFundMe, it'll help these athletes have more chances to test themselves and give back to the community and the next generation of cyclists.

I've been fortunate to be able to offer my time and some financial support to Monarch and other development programs over the years.... I know how much hard work and personal resources can go into racing, and how important it is to have a robust racing community. I hope we can collectively contribute to a future where athletes have pathways to test their limits and inspire each new generation.

Donations are tax deductible, and if you're involved in a business with marketing budget, Monarch is actively looking for incoming sponsors to grow the program this year and into the future, so just reach out if that's a potential opportunity.

Take care; I hope you all have a good Thanksgiving and Holiday Season in the coming weeks!
