My CYO Premium senso quit working today. I did not have time to do much
trouble shooting today, other than trying to check the connections.
Tomorrow, though I hope to do some investigating. I just want to pick the
collective brain for tips-thoughts-precautions.
My plan is to put the bike in a work stand and:
1. connect VOM to hub tabs and check that I have Power from my hub.
No Volts= groan and call PJW.
2. Hub Power= yes >>> Connect my regulated AC power supply to the lamp
tabs and see if I get light No light= groan and call PJW.
3. Light lights= YES! >>> Check the wires, connectors, etc. with the
continuity check of the VOM No continuity = replace wires and/or
connectors
4. Wires are good = scratch my head and say "Whaaaat?" because I don't know
what else it could be!

This SEEMS pretty simple and straight forward but I always feel like I am
missing something. One thing that has me scratching my head is I don't
think my 4D tail light came on while I was riding, at least not when I was
playing with the front set up, but the battery powered stand light feature
was working - the light was on- when I got home and garaging the bike. I
don't think that would kick in unless it had gotten power at sometime, would
it? That makes me wonder if it did light up while riding which would mean
the hub put out power, indicating a bad headlight.

Anyway, those are my trouble-shooting thoughts and plans. I am wondering if
any of you more electrical types have insights. I am NOT an electrical
engineer, but my dad was! And I did teach HS kids some basic electrical
theory and practice . . . 20 years ago. I hate trouble, but I like trying
to figure out some sort of plan to attack it!
