Hello All,

I have a folding bicycle that rides more like a road bike. It is an aluminum frame with a carbon fork that allows for disk brakes.  Currently using a odd wheel size iso 520 or 24" wheel.  Will upgrade it later to a iso 559 wheel or 26" wheel. At 559 wheel size, it can take a 28 mm tire, may take 30mm without fenders. Bicycle not from the US but from the UK. The back story is needed for me to ask my question. If I should need another fork, does anyone know of a fork that can support a 26" tire? The ones I have seen online  are very wide and for standard mountain tires with width up to 2". My current bike is more for road with light trail. Any thoughts or help is appreciated.

Thanks

Antoine G.

I just looked at the instruction manual of one of my computers. 26" wheels outer diameter with a tire is not that different from 700, so a 700 fork could do the job. Otherwise custom forks are an option if need be, but ordering from the UK is probably cheaper.
Cheers !

Hi Antoine, thanks for your reply. I would think the front end of the bicycle would be too high by installing a 622 fork. I am for standards but putting every road bike having a 700c wheel size seems about money and interest.
