B&M IQ-XM speed

Is this, or will this light be available in North America? Also does Peter or someone else know if it can be used while plugged in to a power bank to extend the runtime?

The manual says nothing about charging the battery while powering the light, so it's safe to assume it's not an option. However, I will have spare batteries available late fall or early winter. Price for the set is $315. I don't have pricing for the battery yet.The battery can itself be used as a power bank for other USB charged devices.

Thanks Peter. One more question. Does the battery pack have only one USB port both for recharging the pack and for using the pack as a power source for other device, or does it have multiple ports?

Just the single port. It comes with two cables; one for input and one for output.

I've been testing the IQ-XM here at the shop and talking with people at Busch & Müller. It turns out that the battery can be charged while it's powering the headlight. What's required is a power bank with a dedicated output. Here's the word from B&M.

"You can charge it with a secondary power bank that uses a separate (dedicated) usb port to charge a 3rd party device. If it uses the same port to charge and be charged, then there is no guarantee that energy will be transferred in the required direction, because the speed Battery does that also."
