Hi everybody :-)

Me and another person, we live on the same city and we also believe in
Open Source as a way to make new things. We are both unemployed and we
decided to try make a micro company for working with electronics and
Open Hardware. We are working now on Bicycle LED POV V2 and we hope to
sell it online.

The V2 will be the same as actual SpokePOV and a few more innovations,
mainly to easy the user hacking on the system and use it.

The V2 prototype will have Atmel ARM7 AT91SAM7S128, uSDCard or SPI
DataFlash. The idea is that user can easy make images on PC on a
regular image editor and copy them to uSDCard.

We will also use Lithium 3.7V battery and put a charger IC on the
system. System will be bale to charge by USB.

USB is mainly for charging and USB bootloader. Users will be able to
easily flash a new firmware version using the USB bootloader. For
development/hacking, users will be able to flash using the USB
bootloader and debug/flash using JTAG. All development tools are Open
Source and available on Linux, Mac and Windows.

The AT91SAM7Sxxx family can be used, and go from 32kb flash
(AT91SAM7S321) to 512kb (AT91SAM7S512). Users/us will be able to
choose the cheaper one depending on firmware functionality/size.

We will start using trunk on SVN. Right now we are starting doing the
schematic on KiCad.

The schematic I am working on is already on SVN trunk. I am mainly
looking at one from Olimex, for the AT91SAM7Sxxx: http://www.olimex.com/dev/sam7-h256.html
I bought that Olimex board and it works great.

I am also using Opendous KiCad libs :-) -- that's a way to speed up
development, using Open Source :-)

The LED drivers schematic will be the same we did for Bicycle LED POV
V1, the same as SpokePOV :-)
