Hello :-)

I did read a few pages about Python and wxPython, also did test a few
IDEs for Python...

I were talking personal with Ricardo Lameiro and with Herberto...

I also tested Java Netbeans... and tough It could be quicker to make
the software GUI... - Netbeans is very good for creating GUIs, should
be very quick for who knows Java and have experience in GUIs
programing.

I can't help on GUI, unfortunately, it's very difficult to me to learn
another language and I am not motivated.

I found another project that uses the AT90USB162, shares schematic
files off KiCAD and uses also the MyUSB Library.

And here an important thing that can help developers using Python,
since we use the same MCU and the same USB Library: "The Readme in the
AVRopendous download archive contains instructions for setting up
Windows or Linux systems to develop firmware in C and software in
either C or Python."

Also I found a document that mention Bicycle LED POV:

I saw the project, and looked at the python software. they are using a
usb module, so the communication is a little bit different but we can
take some ideas frome there. thanks for the followup
